Home Company boss gives to Volta Sports Authority

CHIEF Executive Officer of From Home Company Limited, Mr Justus Ayivor, has donated four new Nankang car tyres towards the maintenance of the office Pick-Up vehicle of the Volta Regional Sports Authority (VRSA).

The tyres donated, estimated at GHȻ4,000, is aimed at putting the vehicle in great shape.

Aside the package, the Home Company boss, who is also a member of the Regional Sports Committee, also presented a cash amount of GHȻ1,000 – being the general service bill on the official vehicle.

Mr Ayivor, a philanthropist who is popularly known as Afe Lotto, last November presented a set of office equipment consisting of computer, multi-purpose print, scan and copy machine to the VRSA.

He said he was delighted at the headwork of the Volta Regional Sports Director Mr Kwame Amponfi Jnr and his team and thought “the donation is in the right order.”

On behalf of the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), management and staff of the NSA, Mr Amponfi expressed his heart-felt appreciation to the businessman, assuring to put them into good use.

Whilst lauding the magnanimity of Mr Ayivor, Mr Amponfi said he was of the belief that the Director General of the NSA and the Volta Regional Minister would in due course “acknowledge your immense contributions towards the development and promotion of sports in the Volta Region.”
