HFC Bank PixAs part of activities to mark the National Chocolate Day, HFC Bank (Ghana) Limited has distributed made-in-Ghana chocolates to its customers at all 42 branches around the country.

Customers of the bank who visited their branches on National Chocolate Day were treated to chocolates and other corporate souvenirs to celebrate the day.

National Chocolate Day, which falls on every February 14 on the Ghanaian calendar, coincides with Valentine’s Day. It is set aside to project made-in-Ghana chocolates as the best in the world and to encourage its consumption.

The activation and gesture, by HFC Bank, is part of carefully planned activities aimed at supporting efforts at promoting ‘Made-In-Ghana’ products, while enhancing the bank’s customer stakeholder experience throughout the year.

The Managing Director, Asare Akuffo, who joined staff of the Takoradi main branch to interact with customers, said it was a pleasure for HFC Bank to share with its customers on a day as special to the nation as the National Chocolate Day.

“The gesture,” Mr. Akuffo noted “further affirms HFC Bank’s position as a growing local bank with a deep sense of nationalism”.

Lord Koramoa, Head of Marketing, said it was the first time any local bank celebrated National Chocolate Day with customers in all their branches across the country, adding that HFC Bank’s commitment to the nation remains absolute.

He said HFC Bank will continue to churn out products and services that satisfy the specific needs of all segments of its customer base as well as those of Ghanaians at large.
