Heritage Fashion Launched To Boost Ghana’s Art And Culture

26169442_994331434047418_53507936348795042_nThe Launch of Heritage Fashion saw a rich display of arts and crafts from Ghana’s finest fashion designers and some designers from neighboring West African countries.

The event that took place at the Achimota Retail Centre in Accra recorded an impressive turnout that eventually led to an overflow.

The night was a faithful night for Focal Eye Ghana Models who took their turn to catwalk on the runway to professionally exhibit the stunning and colorful outfits by the young designers.

The ceremony also saw the launch of Focal Eye Ghana that seems to be Ghana’s fastest growing modeling Agency with the quest to groom models to promote Ghana’s Heritage.

Some designers who featured on the show include, Mesme Clothing from Togo, Eduwaah Klodin and Accessories, Adipa Clothing, Liddell Fashion Trend, Obaapa Clothing and Awaida Collection all from Ghana.

26165140_994236404056921_8986204129226147938_nDesigns ranging from applique, dinner wears, office wears, casual wear, hand woven bags, and recycled apparels suitable for beach and among others were exhibited.

Event organizer, Focal Eye Ghana used the opportunity to honor Citi FM, Atinka TV and Javon Effects Ghana Ltd for dedicating their labour, medium and resources to promote Ghana’s heritage.

26165393_994305280716700_8208922106262011702_nThe Boss of Focal Eye Ghana, Thykingdom Kudesey said, the gesture is to encourage others to develop interest in promoting Ghana. He disclosed that, his outfit would hold an award ceremony later this year to award deserving individuals and institutions that have duly promoted Ghana’s heritage on the local and international scene.

Ebo Yankful, Chasboat, Okokobioko, Josh Black and Tsoobi commemorated the launch with an insightful music, spoken word and comedy performances.
