Hearts will get better – Akowuah

Accra Hearts of Oak produced a great performance on Sunday to defeat Medeama 3-1 at the Tarkwa T&A Park in a friendly match.

Skipper of the team, Malik Akowuah after the match assured Phobians that the club will get better.

“Things will get better. The Hearts of Oak supporters who are not happy today because of recent decline will soon start smiling.” Akowuah said.

“You can all see the changes in the team now. We are gradually picking up and I want to assure the fans they are going to see a stronger Hearts of Oak soon.”

Joseph Esso opened the scoring for the Phobians before Auroras product Selassie Bakai bagged a second-half brace to seal the win for Kim Grant’s side.
