Hearts, Medeama clash in MTN FA Cup semi-final

MEDEAMA will face Accra Hearts of Oak in the semi final of the 2015 MTN FA Cup competition after beating WAFA 3-1 at the Tarkwa T & A park yesterday.

Medeama who are previous winners of the competition came back from a goal down to score three to confirm their place in the last four.

Kwesi Donsu’s brace and Joseph Tetteh Zutah’s goal gave Medeama the win after Mumuni Zakaria scored the opener for WAFA in the first half.

The semi final match between Hearts of Oak and Medeama will be played on Sunday July 12 at a venue to be announced by the FA Cup Committee.

The two sides met in the semi final stage of the 2013 edition of the competition which saw Medeama emerge eventual winners.

Meanwhile, the GN Bank Division One League Match day 19 games were played yesterday, producing interesting results from the respective centers.
