Hearts Charged For Misconduct

Hrts1Accra Hearts of Oak has been charged for misconduct and violence by their officials, players and supporters, reports ghafa.org.

Four counts of misconduct have been filed against Hearts for the incidents that happened during and after a Premier League match against New Edubiase in Accra on 4th June, 2014.

Administrator of Hearts of Oak, Hackman Aidoo has also been charged with two counts for misconduct and violence for verbally abusing and physically assaulting the match officials after the game with Edubiase.

Also, Mohammed Alhassan, a porter of Hearts of Oak faces two charges for misconduct and violence for verbally abusing and physically assaulting the match officials in the course of the game against Edubiase.

Hearts of Oak, Hackman Aidoo and Mohammed Alhassan have until 5pm tomorrow to respond to the charges.

In another development, Hearts administrative manager Hackman Aidoo has ruled out Professor Kwesi Mintah and Yusif Abubakar for the vacant coaching job.

The Phobians have mounted a search for a new head coach after refusing to extend Mohammed Polo’s short-term contract which expired at the end of the season.

There have been widespread media reports linking the Mintah, a psychology lecturer at the Cape Coast University and former Ebusua Dwarfs coach to the job.

He is also the psychologist for the senior national team and just returned from the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Abubakar, coach of Heart of Lions, and a former assistant coach at the club was also mentioned in some quarters.

But the club’s chief administrator says the two are no longer in the race.

“When you are searching for a coach, you can’t talk to a single one so the leaders were talking to a number of coaches but for Prof I think he’s not available. Yusif, maybe is also not coming,’’ Aidoo told GHANASoccernet.com

There are reports of Peruvian Carlos Roberto Paulette, who has parted ways with Medeama, and Herbert Addo being interested in thejob.

*Berekum Chelsea have been charged with misconduct and violence by their supporters in a Premier League match with Amidaus Professionals.

Chelsea face three counts for the actions of their supporters during and after their fixture against Amidaus on 1 June 2014 in Berekum.

Berekum Chelsea have until 5pm on 11 July 2014 to respond to the charges.
