‘Govt on course for provision of sports infrastructure’

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Isaac Asiamah, says government is on course as far as the provision of sporting infrastructure was concerned.

He said this during the inspection of one of the country’s 10 multipurpose sports centers being constructed at Dunkwa-On-Offin in the Central region on Friday.

He was pleased with works on the Dunkwa-On-Offin sports center and certain that contractors would produce a masterpiece at the end of the project.

“As government provided all the funds required for the project and no contractor is owed, it is our prayer that everything goes smoothly for the benefit of the entire country, “he stressed.

He encouraged the youth to make good use of the opportunities available to develop their potentials to the fullest.

The Contractor working on the Dunkwa-On-Offin project, Eng. Stephen Ananing was optimistic that the project would be completed on time.

He also commended government for making funds available and providing them with the necessary support to complete the project.
