GOtv rewards subscribers

GOtv Ghana Limited, at the weekend held its first draw of the raffle campaign dubbed: “GOtv GYE WO DIE3 PROMO”, in Accra to reward its existing and new subscribers.

Among the 70 winners were Philip Amoo, Francis Boakye Tuffour,Flora Appiah, Moses, Ashetu and Francis Okyere, who won various items including a 32- inch Hisense led TV, 39 inch Hisense led TV, electric iron, home theatre and a sandwich toaster.

Mr Kingsley Winfred Afful, the Business Manager of GOtv Ghana Limited, in an interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA), noted that the campaign was launched on November 21.

He explained that the process of the promotion requires a new customer to purchase a decoder, pay two months subscription.

However, existing subscribers would only have to pay three months subscription and text the IUC number.

Mr Afful said the company would hold four additional draws across the country but the grand draw would be held at the end of the promotion, which has a brand new saloon car as the ultimate prize.

The Business Manager congratulated the winners, and urged the public to purchase the GOtv decoders in order to migrate unto the Digital Terrestrial Television, before 2015.

Mr. Ekow Inkoom, Head of Business and Promotions, National Lotteries Authority (NLA), said the Authority was the only government institution mandated to regulate and supervise such draws, to ensure that the right procedures in selecting winners are used.

He said proceeds from the promotion would go a long way to help facilitate development in the area of education, culture and health, among others.

The nationwide promotion is in collaboration with NLA on the Caritas Lottery Platform, with Hisense, Airtel Money, BUKA Restaurant and Master Alarms, as its sponsors.
