Good Shepherd School Marks Anniversary

groupThe Good Shepherd International School at (Bohye Asaseso) Odupong Ofaakor in the Central Region, has held it third speech and prize-giving day with the theme: “Education as a tool for personal success”.

Addressing the gathering, Mother Lisa Tuttle from United States of America, a partner of the school, urged the students not to waste the opportunity that they were being given.

Mother Tuttle, who is also the Founder and Country Director of Ghana Children Fund, said the appreciated parents efforts at making great sacrifice for their children to receive the gift of education, since without education there is little hope for the children to elevate themselves in society.

Postor Paul Kweku Addei (Junior) the Administrator said the school started in August 2004 with 30 pupils and now has a total of 418 students from kindergarten to Senior High School.

He appealed to parents to help the school to help their children to excel in all their academics. GNA
