He added that, the bank would also sponsor the coverage of the league and promote the league to the best standard possible.

“The bank sees the division one league as a breaking ground to developing talents and also develop football from the grass root level,” he stated.

He added that, they are excited to collaborate with the GFA to sponsor the division one league which would help them serve the various localities in the country as far as their passion for football is concerned.

President of GFA, Kwesi Nyantakyi described the sponsorship as unprecedented and lauded the bank for their effort.

“We are excited with the deal and it serves as a big relief to the FA as many corporate entities have neglected the division one league,” he stated.

He also congratulated the bank for the gesture adding the local league provides the platform for unearthing talents for the national teams.

He further urged the clubs to reciprocate the gesture from the bank by conducting themselves well and patronizing services from the bank.
