GLICO Launches Online Clients Portal

THE GLICO GROUP has launched an online clients’ portal which affords policy holders to check and print their statements on their investments, and the interests without resorting to the office.

The over 200,000 policy holders with internet connectivity on their phones and tablets can now access their statements on line.

Mr. E. Forkuo-Kyei, the Managing Director of GLICO LIFE, told clients on Tuesday at a policy holder’s forum held in Accra, that all policy holders whose premiums were received from the Controller and Accountant Generals Department, Ghana Police Service, Vodafone Ghana and Central University College, could now access their statements online.

“Over the years, we have been inundated with requests by policy holders on statements, a requirement for every policy holder. However, we have had difficulties with sending statements due to challenges with our portal system,” Mr Forkuo-kyei said.

“Today, I am delighted to inform you that, GLICO LIFE has found a solution to this bane, and has delivered on your request to make it easily accessible for you to print your statement on line,” he added.

Mr. Forkuo-Kyei said customers could still request for printed statements from GLICO offices across the country upon request.

The Managing Director said the launch of the online client portal was part of efforts to deliver quality service to its numerous clients, saying, “we are in business to serve you better to cushion you for life, and it is our hope that you will offer us your inputs and recommendations to deliver superior services.”

The Information and Communications Technology Manager, Kwaku Appah Hayase, took clients through the processes of accessing their statements online, and assured them of quality service delivery.
