Ghana Consulting Engineers week celebration set to take off

All is set for the Ghana Consulting Engineers week celebration slated for 6-8 December 2017 at the Engineers Centre, Roman Ridge, Accra.

The President of the Ghana Consulting Engineers Association (GCEA), Ing. Albert Ogyiri who confirmed the celebration said the event is under the theme: ‘The role of Consulting Engineers and the Development Agenda of Ghana.”

The event is expected to attract over 200 participants including government officials, local administrative authorities and directors of member consulting engineering firms in the country.

The Ghana Consulting Engineers Association is made up of legally constituted indigenous Ghanaian firms and Individuals practising consulting engineering in Ghana.

The GCEA is committed to the development of the capacity of consulting engineering firms to effectively harness the human resources for the development and sustenance of Ghana’s infrastructure.

The Ghana Consulting Engineers Association is a member Association of FIDIC and GAMA.

The guest speaker for the programme is the Minister for Railway Development, Joe Ghartey.

Other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include the President of Ghana Institution of Engineers, Ing. Mrs. Carlien Bou-Chedid, GAMA President,  Mayor of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and sister bodies in the built environment.
