Gethsemane Fellowship Inspires Bece Candidates

Gethsemane FellowshipOver 60 candidates in basic schools in Accra Central, writing the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), have received examination kits from the Gethsemane All Believers Prayer Fellowship.

In each kit is a mathematical set, a pen, pencil, an eraser and a sharpener, and were presented to them last Sunday, ahead of the examination, which started on Monday.

Mr. Thomas Larbi, a senior pastor of the fellowship, told The Ghanaian Times, “the church is mindful of its responsibility to support the growth of its host community, provide both spiritual and physical support to people, and we deem it critical to assist in the education of children in our locality”.

He announced that the support package has been instituted as an annual event which would be extended to other parts of Accra and the nation in general.

He, therefore, called on corporate bodies and philanthropists to support the initiative for the benefit of deprived children.
