Gen Abubakar Pays Courtesy Call On Pres

ABuFormer Nigerian Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, has paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama at Flagstaff House in Accra.

President Mahama shared with General Abubakar some highlights from last week’s US-Africa Summit in Washington DC.  They also discussed the outbreak of the ebola disease in some West African nations and the overall security situation in the West African sub-region.

General Abubakar commended President Mahama on his leadership, saying that the task of governing is not easy.  “You have the opposition and you have those who are with you.  You have to carry, the good the bad and the ugly along with you,” he added.
