French business delegation to visit Ghana

A French business delegation will visit the country from April 16 to 17, to assess the opportunities offered by the Ghanaian economy as well as the most important sectors relevant for investment.

The delegation will include about 30 investors with interest in infrastructure, architecture, banking and financial services, transport and logistics, industrial projects, energy, I.T, service to government, and retail.

According to a statement issued by the French Embassy, the team would organise a press conference as part of its activities in the country.

The initiative is led by MEDEF International which represents 800,000 French companies abroad with the support of the French Embassy in the country.

The visit forms part of a series of business meetings between the French private sector representatives and their Ghanaian counterparts.

According to the statement, the French business community was confident in the Ghanaian economy, despite the short term economic challenges it encountered.
