The Board of Directors of First Capital Plus Bank Limited has appointed the Reverend Fitzgerald Odonkor as the new Managing Director.
Rev. Odonkor, a seasoned banker with decades of banking experience takes over from Mr John Kofi Mensah, a statement issued in Accra and copied to the press said.
Rev. Odonkor has been assigned the task of taking the bank to greater heights.
“With Reverend Odonkor’s many skills, competences, varied qualifications and deep experiences, there is no doubt that he will drive the growth of First Capital Plus Bank,” the statement said.
A profile of Rev. Odonkor who is General Overseer of Harvest International Ministries indicates that he holds BA degrees in Social Science, French and an MBA in Finance.
He attended the Achimota Secondary School, University du Benin, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Alliance Francaise de Paris, and University of Ghana.
Rev. Odonkor’s banking career started in 1989 as the Finance Officer at Bank for Housing and Construction, and moved to EcoBank Ghana Limited where he served in various portfolios including Credit Officer for Foreign Trade.
He later became EcoBank Head of Trade Finance, Deputy Operations Manager, Head Cash Management, Group Trade Manager and Regional Head for Structured Trade.
