According to him, he left the house early yesterday morning to send his children to school only to return to discover that his room had been totally burnt to ashes.

“Nobody was able to enter his or her room to take anything as they watch their valuables burn into ashes”,he lamented.

The Deputy Public Relations Officer of Ghana National Fire Service Divisional Officer Grade III Prince Billy Anaglatey, said personnel were there in five minutes after the distress call and managed to quench the fire with two fire tenders.

He said when personnel got to the scene, 10 out of the 15 rooms on the block had already been gutted completely.
