The Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International, Ghana, has carried out a corporate social responsibility, as part of activities marking its 2015 National Convention.

At a ceremony in Accra, the fellowship donated some assorted items to the Children’s Unit of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

They included diapers, detergents, toilet roll, dental cream and toothbrushes.

Mr Sam Mensah, the fellowship’s National Director for Operations, who led the delegation, said, “Jesus came to preach the way to heaven, heal the sick and cast out demons, but as and when the occasion called for it. he also fed the hungry.”

He said the Bible enjoined Christians to take care of orphans, widows and the marginalised in society, adding, “this is what motivated the fellowship to make the presentation”.

The Principal Nursing Officer, Madam Margaret Owusu, who received the donation on behalf of the hospital, expressed gratitude to FGBMFI for the gesture.
