FA Cup committee (FACC) chairman Mr. Kurt Okraku will lead a delegation to pay a courtesy call on the Central Regional Minister and the Oguaa Traditional council today.
The committee will officially inform the central regional administrative and traditional authorities about this year’s grand finale of the MTN FA Cup competition which will be played at the new Cape Coast Stadium on September 4.
They will also use the occasion to invite the Omanhene of the Cape Coast Traditional Council Osabarima Kwesi Atta II and Kweku Ricketts- Hagan, the Regional Minister to grace the event.
The gigantic MTN FA Cup trophy will be paraded through the principal streets of Cape Coast as part of events to herald the final match.
Medeama won last year’s edition of the competition and are currently representing Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Committee will also hold a press conference at the Regional Football Association Secretariat in Cape Coast at 2pm today.
The confab is to afford the members the opportunity to interact with the Central regional as they prepare for the grand finale of the event.
The Committee will announce activities lined up for the final match which will include a float through the principal streets of Cape Coast.
