Ecobank launches Customer Care Service week

Ecobank Ghana has reiterated its commitment to continue to provide customers with improved services and products.

Mr Daniel Sackey, Managing Director, Ecobank, speaking at the launch of the bank’s Customer Service week in Accra on Monday said the bank had invested heavily in technology in order to offer improved services to customers.

The event dubbed “care and convenience,” was attended by the bank’s customers.

He said the bank was happy to receive feedback from customers adding that “You have all the right to complain about one service or another; however we can assure you that you won’t have to complain about the same things you complained about some time back.”

He said “what is special about today is that we are willing to put that commitment; we are showing you the faces of those behind the commitment.”

“Our willingness to make that commitment is underpinned by the fact that we believe that we have great people who manage our branches; we put out good products that will meet your taste; we have invested in technology that will help respond to your needs in real time and we stand ready to receive any residual complaints from you,” he said.

The launch of the programme according to him “is the commitment that people are ready to serve and respond to needs of customers so that they get what they ask for in a convenient way.”

Responding to some customer complaints about some bank services, Mr Sackey told customers “we don’t guarantee that you will not have challenges, we don’t guarantee that once a while the ATM will not malfunction; they will happen but when they do happen we will be swift in rectifying the situation.”

Head of Communications and Marketing, Ecobank, Mrs Rita Tsegah, said the bank’s service brand had taken into consideration the rights of customers to choose between competing brands and so has fashioned out nothing but products and services that meet their needs.

The brand centres on best, friendly and caring people and the bank offers the very best of the industry who provide you our customers with the very best of services.

“We deliver great and convenient products, incisive and deductive thought processes that are dedicated to creating innovation,” she said.
