Ecobank Executives Serve Customers

ASIEDUEcobank Ghana has began a week-long programme to enable senior management of the pan African bank to engage customers and provide banking services to customers

Dubbed ‘Executive Guest Tellering”, the programme enables senior management to take over the duties of front line staff for a day.

At the new Abeka branch in Accra yesterday, Morgan Fianko Asiedu, Executive Director, Legal, Human Resource and Compliance Departments, devoted his morning to serve clients and also interact with them to have first hand information on the operations of the bank.

The bank in the last quarter of last year held its maiden executive guest tellering programme throughout its various branches to engage customers.

Speaking to the media, he said the senior management of the bank place high premium on good quality customer services hence the need to institute the event to appreciate customers.

Mr. Asiedu said, the programme would also help boost staff morale, have a first-hand feel of the branch operations, identify bottlenecks and recommend resolutions for service improvement.

He said the event which is being replicated in the bank’s branches across the country would also afford top management the opportunity to have a feel of the day to day running of the shop floor, which eventually results in good and impactful decision making.

“In Ecobank we are always concern about what kind of services our customers get when they come to transact business with us. It is therefore, important that we engage them and get feedbacks from them to help in our decision making,” he said.

Mr. Asiedu reiterated the bank’s commitment to developing innovative products and services to meet the changing needs of customers.
