“Friends of Moderator”, a group within the Evangelical Presbyterian Church fraternity, has donated a Toyota V-8 Land Cruiser worth GH¢200,000 to the leadership of the church to support its evangelism crusade.

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, launched an evangelism project during its seventh General Assembly session held in August, seeking to boost its spiritual and numerical growth.

Responding to an appeal for logistic support towards a successful evangelism drive, some members of the church, including Mr. Victor Ntumi, Chief Executive Officer of Vic-Bea Commercials, Mr. Frank Agbeve, a business executive, and Mr. Eric Botchway, among others, organised themselves as a technical working group and mobilised funds to purchase the first vehicle for the campaign.

Presenting the vehicle to the leadership of the church at Ho, on behalf of the group, Mr. Ntumi urged members to demonstrate their commitment to providing the needed support to the evangelism project.

The Moderator of the E.P Church, the Rt.-Rev. Dr. Agidi, on behalf of the church, thanked the group for its generosity and entreated others to emulate their gesture.

He urged members to serve as faithful advocates of Christ, in accordance with the church’s mission of “bringing light to where there is darkness”, so as to make a difference in society.
