He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of GH¢5,000 with two sureties to appear again on September 17, 2018.

He said on August 3, 2018, at about 8am, complaint went to collect dues valued at GH¢10.00 from Kwakye after everyone paid theirs according to laid-down procedures.

Chief Insp Acheampong said the complainantt placed his hands on Kwakye’s taxi cab and demanded for the said dues.

He said Kwakye, who was furious, hit the complaint’s right wrist with his hand and the complainant’s hand got fractured.

The court heard that the matter was reported to the Adabraka Police and the complainantt was issued with police medical report form to attend hospital for treatment.

Chief Insp Acheampong said Kwakye was arrested and during investigation he admitted the offence.
