A foretaste of what would happen at tomorrow’s unification bout at the Police Officers Social and Fitness Centre (POSFC) will be witnessed today at the offices of GTV Sports+ which is hosting the ceremonial weigh-in today.
It will be the last of the pre-fight formalities lined up for the big fight that will see Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe lock horns with Philippine Neil John Tabanao for the WBC World Youth featherweight title.
Winner of the ‘mega fight’ would also unify the WBO titles held by the two combatants.
Dogboe holds the WBO Africa featherweight strap while Tabanao holds the Asia OPBF (Oriental) version.
It will be the second time the two boxers are coming close after the media conference held Tuesday at the premises of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.
At today’s event, both boxers would be required to weigh-in at 57kg expected of a featherweight and send their last messages to their fans.
According to organisers, the event would kick-start at exactly at 12noon.
Meanwhile, the organisers have announced new rates for the fight, marking a huge reduction on the earlier rates announced.
Per the new rates, the VVIP tickets would be sold at Gh¢500.00, Ringside for Gh¢300.00 and Regular going for Gh¢30.00.
