GHANA ace Andre Ayew has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player Of the Year Award in England.

The deputy skipper of the Black Stars has been a phenomenon for Swansea City since joining from French Ligue 1 outfit Olympic Marseille.

Ayew was nominated alongside teammates Bafetimbi Gomis and Ashley Williams, Odion Ighalo (Watford), Vincent Kompany, David Silva (Manchester City), Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy (Leicester City), Anthony Martial (Manchester United), Dimitri Payet (West Ham United), Graziano Pelle (Southampton), Callum Wilson (Bournemouth).

The 25-year-old has been able to score three Premier League goals and made two assists for Swansea City this season.

His remarkable performance has once again earned him an opportunity to clinch another top award after winning Swansea City’s Player of the month award as well as the Barclays Premier League player of the month award.

His attacking partnership with French striker Bafetimi Gomis was regarded as the most accurate attack in the English Premier League so far this season.

The Fans’ Player of the Year accolade is given to footballers in the top four flights of English football, the Premier League, the Championship, League One and League Two.

The broadcaster who doubles as the head of sports for one of Ghana’s leading Radio Stations Peace FM will be vying for the prestigious award which is slated for the International Conference Center on Saturday 10th of October.

Dan Kwaku Yeboah however faces stiff competition from compatriots Nathan Kwaw of City Fm, Bright Kankam Boadu of Nhyira Fm, Happy Fm trio Charles Osei-Asibey, Moses Antwi Benifo and Odiasempa Kwame Oware as well as Atinka Fm’s sports show host Kofi Asare Brako.

Dan Kwaku Yeboah, host of the Peace Power Sports show which airs every Thursday from 1pm to 2:30pm has been in the industry for more than a decade.
