Darko joins Armenia side Lori FC

Ghana international, Enoch Darko has joined Armenian First League champions Lori FC on a five year deal.

The Black Satellites winger joined the newly promoted side from Accra based second division side Golden Kick SC owned by Michael Tawiah Attoh.

Darko played an integral role in Ghana’s participation at the 2018 West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations tournament in Togo last December, 

An elated Darko told this paper after being presented to the club’s fans that it was a dream come through for him.

Having featured for Golden Kick SC for two seasons where he was one of their top marksmen, the U-20 star believes there are other players capable of filling the void back home.

Explaining the choice of the Armenian league, the 18-year-old said “I am a risk taker and a lover of challenges. Starting life in Armenia would prepare me very well before I move to Europe.”
