Cowbell cycling tour hits Tamale Saturday

This year’s Cowbell Bike Caravan is scheduled to begin at Tamale on Saturday, October 10, at the Jubilee Park.

The second stop of the three-regional event would be at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on October 17 while the Accra event is slated for October 24.

According to Events Representative of Cowbell, Inusah Mohammed, the event would be climaxed with a three-day cycling race in Accra from October 22 to October 24.

He added that, the event would honour national cyclist Samuel Anim who died few months ago.

On the Bike Caravan, he said, the outfit is expecting thousands of people across the country to participate in the event at the various regions.

“All one needs is a bicycle and we expect people to come out in their numbers to participate in the fun-filled event which is also aimed at giving people the opportunity to exercise”, he stated.

He added that registration would be done at the various starting points at 6am on the event day before the exciting ride across the streets of the various regions.

“Participants could walk away with bicycles, helmets, sports bags as well as other attractive souvenirs from Cowbell”, he stressed.

He added that, the outfit is committed to ensuring maximum safety of the cyclists as security personnel would be available to assist.

According to him,Cowbell would ensure the cycling race also attracts some of the best cyclists in the country to ensure a very competitive and attractive event.
