The Amenfiman Rural Bank Limited made a profit before tax of GH¢2,247,312 in 2012 as against GH¢1,151,981 in 2011, representing an increase of 95 per cent. The bank’s profit after tax increased from GH¢ 1,044,882 in 2011 to GH¢ 2,054,322 in 2012, representing an increase of 97 per cent.

Africa is the most expensive continent to send money to, with transfers costing an average of 11.67 percent of the amount being sent, compared to around 8.35 per cent for Asia.
