The items include story books, pencils, erasers, toys, footballs, basketballs and buckets of oil paint.
Presenting them, the Vice President of CADFUND, Mr. Zhou Chao said the donation was to support the school to provide quality education to the students.
According to him, as developing countries, China and Ghana were faced with the task of developing domestic economy and improving the standard of living of people especially through education.
He said that China had learned that education played an important role in the socio-economic development of a country hence his organisation’s focus on supporting educational institutes.
“A country’s hope lies in children and children’s hope lies in education,” he said.
Receiving the items, Mrs. Victoria Gyatsen, headmistress of the school said that CADFUND had supported the school since its establishment in 2009.
According to her, support from the organisation had contributed in the success story of pupils from the school emerging as champions in the boys’ football competition and girls’ netball competition in the Ga Central Municipality.
She thanked the organisation for the gesture and cited the lack of furniture and books for the school’s library as a challenge facing the school and appealed for help from other corporate bodies.
