Mr. Ansong said he was moved by the appeal The Ghanaians Times made on her behalf and decided to donate his widow’s mite to support her medical care.

Ms. Otimah suffered severe burns, when her former boyfriend, Kwabena Ofosu, poured the acid on her, following a misunderstanding between them.

Otimah presently has a disfigured hand, face, body and impaired vision in the right eye and is consequently appealing to the general public for help, through The Ghanaian Times.

She says her family and other benefactors have spent so much on her treatment and, therefore, needs public assistance for further surgery to improve her condition.

All donations should be channelled through The Ghanaian Times Needy Fund.
