British Envoy Calls On Interior Minister

He was accompanied by Mr. Jon Gouiding and Mrs. Leilani Helmi of the National Crime Agency at the High Commission.

The meeting, held behind closed doors, centred on a number of issues including the strengthening of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Briefing The Ghanaian Times later, the Chief Director of the Ministry, Mrs. Adelaide Anno-Kumi, said the High Commissioner who assumed duty recently, called on the minister and his deputy, Mr. James Agalga, to officially introduce himself.

He said the minister recounted the numerous forms of assistance and support that Ghana had received from Britain in all fields, adding that Britain remained in the minds of Ghanaians as the pacesetter on which the development of the country was centred.
