Bosch holds seminar for stakeholders in construction industry

Bosch Ghana Limited as part of its commitment to developing a vibrant construction industry in Ghana has organised a day’s seminar for the stakeholders in construction industry.

The objective of the programme, dubbed VIP, was attended by representatives of technical universities, trade associations, research institutes, mining and construction firms, and artisans from the informal sector, across the 10 regions of the country.

Participants were introduced to Bosch range of power tools, accessories and after sales services, among other.

Addressing a news conference prior to the seminar, the Managing Director of Bosch Ghana, Emmanuel Agyei said Bosch Ghana was committed to supporting the growth of the construction industry to accelerate the economic growth and development of the country.

He said a vibrant construction industry, would required skilled artisans, who used modern tools in execution their projects and met all the technical specifications.

Mr Agyei said, it was against that backdrop that his outfit oranised the seminar to educate the players in the construction industry on the need to use power tools and Bosch range of power tools, services and solutions.

He said Bosch Ghana had established Bosch Solution Boxes at various construction sites across the country to educate construction workers and artisans on modern power tools and Bosch after sales services.

“Bosch products have been available in Ghana for many years through sales partners, in the past two years, the establishment and official opening of a local Bosch office, served to further rooting our commitment to Ghana,” he said.

The Regional Sales Director of Bosch Power Tools, responsible for West and Central Africa, Benjamin Ofori said the objective of Bosch was to educate especially local informal artisans to move from manual to Bosch innovative power tools to increase their efficiency and to meet international standards.

Mr Ofori urged Construction and Mining companies to use Bosch range of power tools to boost their businesses.

Apart from the company’s focus on strong after sales service, he said, Bosch has solutions tailored to meet the needs of players in the construction industry.

Mr Ofori disclosed that Bosch Ghana has more than 25 distributors across the country to meet the needs of consumers across the country.
