Best Point wins sports competition

BestThe 2017 edition of the uniCredit Ghana Association of Savings and Loans Companies (GHASALC) was held at the Burma Camp Leisure Centre in Accra with about 14 companies battling for glory.
At the end of exciting games and networking, Best Point Savings and Loans emerged ultimate winners after cumulating the most points at the event.
Best Point dominated the competitions and were a delight to watch as they dazzled their competitors to emerge victorious.
However, the day climaxed with an exciting football game between Golden Link and First Trust which saw the former winning 3-0 to walk away with the men football trophy.
Speaking after the presentation ceremony, president of GHASALC, Kofi Ampofo Agyapong, was pleased with the professionalism displayed by the companies.
He said this year has seen a massive improvement of last year as activities went on successfully as planned and the aims and objectives of the event was also achieved.
“It is very exciting to see members in the Savings and Loans business getting out of their suits and putting on their sports wears and engage and very stiff competitions on the pitches,” he stated.
Other winners in the various sporting disciplines include, Bayport who won table tennis (men) with Commerce and Best Point settling for the second and third positions in that event.
uniCredit won swimming (female), while First Trust and First Allied came second and third in that order. Best Point also won swimming (men) with Adom and Opportunity International walking away with the second and third positions respectively.
Lime and Spoon (men) was won by Best Point, while Adom and Equity came second and third. In the female category, First Trust came out tops, Equity came second while Best Point settled for the third position.
uniCredit won the men scrabble event and was followed by First Allied and WWB for the second and third positions while Ludo was won by Best Point, Equity settled for the second position with WWB coming third.
Adom won the 100m (men) event while First Allied and First Trust came second and third respectively. Golden Link also won the volleyball competition (female).
