Algerian side MC Alger, arrived in Ghana yesterday, ahead of their first leg Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Confederations Cup encounter against Bechem United on Sunday, February 12, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to Bechem United’s Administrative Manager, Mr. Francis Gorman, The North Africans, are lodged at the Holiday-Inn hotel at East Legon and would have their first training session today at the Presec Boys’ school park.
The FA Cup champions will seek to commence their debut continental tournament with a positive result against a very tough Algerian side.
Mr. Francis Gorman in an interview with the GNA solicited for the support of the entire nation as they represent the country on Sunday.
“We will like to call for the support of every Ghanaian on Sunday, without the fans, football is difficult for the players, we have therefore reduced the gate fees to Gh¢5.00 and Gh¢10.00 for popular and Vip stands respectively.
“We want to make the country proud” said Mr. Gorman.-GNA
