Breast Care International (BCI) has been awarded a world class Business Excellence Award for its meritorious performance in the field of business and health care.
The award conferred on BCI by the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB) at the confederation’s prestigious business awards, dubbed “BIZZ 2016,” held at Willard Intercontinental, Washington DC in the United States of America is in recognition of the NGO’s distinguished business excellence both home and abroad.
WORLDCOB is a leading business organisation, based in Houston, Texas, which fosters the development and growth of over 3000 outstanding companies, recognising and driving the latest advances and innovations of business and businessmen, as well as promoting social responsibility.
“With this award, Breast Care International has become an elite member of WORLDCOB along with big corporations such as Dubai Duty Free (UAE), Doha Bank (Qatar) Hospitality Board Holding Company (Saudi Arabia), Sohar Bank (Oman) and many others,” a citation accompanying the award said.
With that achievement, BCI will be in a position to expand and promote its campaign among members of WORLDCOB worldwide.
Receiving the prestigious BIZZ award, Dr. Beatrice Wiafe-Addai, President of BCI, was happy that the contribution and hard work by her organisation has attracted global recognition.
Dr. Wiafe pledged that her organisation would continue to be consistent in introducing innovative ways of providing quality health care.
“This award will inspire and enable us scale new benchmarks and also contribute our quota to the progress of society,” she said, and thanked all the partners of BCI for the support which continues to enable the organisation to deliver on its mandate.
