The General Manager, Marketing, of Ziptv Service, Mrs. Regina Ntim-Addae, has announced collaboration between Broadband Home Limited (BBH) and Samsung Ghana to have its Ziptv application pre-installed on Samsung s7, which was launched in March, 2016.
Speaking at the launch she said Ziptv would revolutionise TV viewing experience of Ghanaians as compared to existing satellite or terrestrial Pay-TV services.
BBH is Ghana’s first broadband wireless provider, trading under the brands Zipnet, Ziptv and Ziptel.
The app was tested on the Samsung s7 phone during the launch in order to showcase this exciting offer.
The move is aimed at making TV viewing in Ghana very convenient and refreshing. The collaboration would see the app preinstalled on other Samsung smartphones like the Samsung A5 and smart TVs.
Ziptv content would vary from sports, news, soaps, movies, series, documentary, religious and kids content.
Mrs. Ntim-Addae said due to the vast variety in content and the multiple medium of access, all categories of viewers have been catered for and thus, the consumer decides on what to watch, when to watch, and how to watch.
According to Mr Ahmed Wahab, General Manager, Ziptv Commercial, customers who purchase the Samsung s7 phones are assured of special Ziptv discounts on all packages.
He said the app would soon be available in the google play store.
