He added that on July 19, Dora returned to the hospital to visit a nursing mother, Hanna Asante (the baby’s biological mother) who became her friend, she was on admission and in the process stole one of her twins.

The Police Commander said a report was made to the police and during investigations some family members of Dora were contacted.

He said family members informed the Police that Dora had charted a taxi heading towards Labadi in order to escape.

Sup. Apedo said the driver, who was a family friend, was contacted and asked to drive to the nearest police station without informing the suspect.

He said the driver drove to Osu police station, and Dora attempted to escape, but was arrested by the police.
