B.A player lashes out at coach over claims

BA United player, Kwabena Dodzi has lashed at coach Mohammed Gargo for revealing information of alleged match-fixing scandal at the club.

The former Black Stars player revealed that, he has information his players have been influenced to throw matches for betting gains.

The startling revelation has caused a stir – leading to calls for thorough investigation to establish the facts of the case.

The GFA says it has referred the matter to the security services for investigations.

But BA United player, Kwabena Dodzi says he is ashamed to be associated with such allegations.

“This is a disheartening news which has disgraced the whole of Brong Ahafo,” he said.

“A coach of Mohammed Gargo’s stature shouldn’t be peddling such information in the public domain.

“The club has structures and the coach should have resorted to those structures rather than coming out in public with such information.

“The whole thing is being played in the media which is not right.”
