The Appointment Committee of Parliament, will today continue the vetting of the third batch of ministerial nominees.

The 26-member committee chaired by the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joseph Osei Owusu would today vet Minister-designate for Local Government and Rural development Hajia Alima Mahama, Minister-designate for Trade and Industry, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, Minister-designate for Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto and Minister-designate for Energy, Boakye Agyarko.

Tomorrow, the committee made up 16 members from the majority and 10 minority members would further screen Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, Minister-designate for Education Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and Minister-designate for Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu.

The committee which started its work on Friday has already vetted Senior Minister-designate, Yaw Osafo Marfo, Security Minister- designate Albert Kan-Dapaah, Finance Minister-designate, Ken Ofori-Atta and Defence Minister-designate Dominic Nitiwul.

The Attorney-General and Justice Minister-designate Gloria Akuffo and Minister-designate for Interior Ambrose Dery, also took their turns on Saturday.
