Ashongman youth organise clean up

The New Ashongman Association and Discipline Youth Club at Ashongman Estate in Accra, at the weekend embarked on a cleanup exercise, to foster unity among the youth of the area. As early as 5:30am, members of the two associations holding brooms, rakes and shovels cleared the streets and disilted choked gutters in the estate.

NDC election director dies

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Director of Elections for the Central Region, Mr. Yaw Asiedu, has died in a motor accident. The regional chairman of the party Bernard Allotey Jacobs, who confirmed this, said the accident occurred yesterday morning on the Apam-Winneba stretch of the Cape Coast-Accra road.

State attorneys to meet board over strike
