Asesewa SHS gets computers

Jeff Tetteh-KavianThe Member of Parliament (MP) for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency, Jeff Tetteh-Kavianu, has presented 15 desktop computers with accessories worth Gh35,000, to the Asesewa Senior High School, to improve the study of Information Technology (IT) in the school.

The donation was to complement the school’s efforts in providing ICT training for the children in the area.

The MP, who made the presentation at a durbar at Asesewa,  also presented a motor bike at a cost of GH¢2,500 to the Dademantsemei Union to help facilitate their activities in the area.

The Dademanstemei Union, which is made up of chiefs and leaders of the over 192 communities within the area, is aimed at mobilising support for community development.

Addressing the durbar, Mr. Tetteh- Kavianu, reiterated government’s commitment to the people, through the provision of infrastructure and improvement of other logistics, to ensure improved and transformed livelihoods.

He indicated that plans were underway to construct a canteen and kitchen for the Asesewa Government Hospital, to ensure safe and hygienic catering services to patients on admission and their visitors.

Mr Tetteh-Angmor, the District Chief Executive (DCE) said, in spite of  challenges in the district, government had provided massive infrastructure in the areas of Education
