…as President, Nana Akufo-Addo wish them well

President John Dramani Mahama has wished candidates writing this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) the best of luck in their exams.

Earlier yesterday, the president took to his official Twitter page to wish them success in the examination.

President Mahama tweeted “To all BECE candidates, you’re on my mind and in my heart. I pray for God’s Blessings & Success for you all”.

In a related development, the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has also wished the candidates well in the examination.

For his part, Mr. Akufo-Addo tweeted: “I wish all the 461,012 candidates sitting the BECE from today the very best of luck. God be with you”.

A total of 461,012 candidates began this year’s BECE on Monday in 1,546 centres across the country and are due to end on Friday, June 17.

The NPP’s flag bearer in a statement released in Accra yesterday prayed that the candidates remain in a better state of mind and health during and after their examinations.
