Francis Thomas Anderson, the deceased, was allegedly shot in the chest by the robbers.
Anderson, was in his rented apartment with his eight-months pregnant wife when the robbers broke into the apartment with hammer and pinch bars and killed him.
The robbers had, earlier attacked two other houses including that of Micheal Oti Adjei,a Sports journalist with TV 3, an Accra based television station and made away with GH¢700, a laptop, watches and travelling documents.

He said the deceased’s wife (name withheld), told the police that they were asleep when they heard the door being broken.
She said the bereaved wife told the police she locked herself in one of the rooms while the husband struggled behind the door preventing the armed men from entering the room.
Supt Adjei said when the robbers managed to enter the room they attacked him at the living room and shot him in the left chest and inflicted cutlass wound on the head and hand.
Thereafter, they dragged him to the kitchen and made away with a HP laptop, and Nokia phone.
Supt Adjei stated that the woman came out after the robbers had fled, found the husband in a pool of blood and raise the alarm which attracted some neighbours who took Anderson to the Korle -Bu Teaching Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body has since been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary pending autopsy.
