Nana Kwanin Kwanfo II, Chief of Appianyinase of Juabeng in the Ashanti Region, has presented educational materials to eight Junior High Schools and pupils in the Juabeng Traditional Area.

The items included boxes of branded exercise books, boxes of pens and mathematical sets. The beneficiary schools were Methodist JHS, Presby, Islamic, Madam Smith, Anglican L/A, and Roman Catholic.

The donation, which forms part of activities to mark the chief’s 17th anniversary of his enstoolment, was aimed at helping to improve education in the area.

It is to encourage school retention as well as support the management of the beneficiary schools to deliver.

According to Nana Kwanfo, the donation exercise would be instituted as an annual event to provide sustained support to pupils, especially those from poor homes.
