Anim Wins Tamale Cycling Tour

Over 4000 adults and children hit the streets of Tamale when it hosted the Cowbell Bike Caravan on Saturday, bringing activities in the Central Business Area to a halt, momentarily.

The caravan aimed at promoting safe riding and exercise for fitness was organized by Promasidor Ghana Limited through its Cowbell brand in collaboration with the Tamale Motor Transport and Traffic Unit (MTTU).

Cyclists rode across the Tamale Township before gathering at the Jubilee Park for a special raffle draw.

In their bid to promote cycling as a means of transport and a form of exercise, Cowbell branded bicycles were presented to over 20 young riders.

Another 200 riders also received helmets to promote safe riding campaign.

The climax of the day’s event was the Tamale stage of the Cowbell Cycling tour which attracted over 60 professional cyclists across the country.
