Ahotor FM relaunched with a new focus

Renowned broadcaster and media consultant, Mr Kofi Nyantakyi has advised management of Ahotor 92.3 FM to focus on development and people-oriented programming to positively impact on the lives of its listeners.

Ahotor 92. 3 FM has hit the airwaves, following a restructuring of their programmes embarked upon by management of the Lashibi-based private radio station.

Addressing the gathering at the launch, Mr Nyantakyi said programmes such as sanitation, community focused issues and crime among others, addressed daily challenges of the society.

The ceremony which came off at the Palscrib bar at the Tema Community 11, witnessed an unveiling of Ahotor 92.3 FM’s invigorated logo along with its mission and vision statements.

The General Manager of the station, Mr  Ahuma Bosco Ocansey in his welcome address stated that the rebranded Ahotor FM was to ensure listeners of the station get access to quality radio programmes and content.

On his part, the Commercial Manager of African World Airlines, Kwabena Kyerah charged the station to distinguish itself from other radio stations by broadcasting absolute truth regardless of what the situation might be.

The function was well attended by a host of personalities including Minister Shina Alege who is a minister at the Nigerian High Commission to Ghana, legendary highlife musician Bessa Simons,  who is the first Vice President of MUSIGA, clients of the station, and members of the media among others.

The station, established in 2016, aspires to be Accra’s most promising radio brand with the best talents leading its drive.  The relaunch will see the station focusing on a mix of compelling programmes, live events and social interventions.
