The visitors managed to score a goal in each half with John Henyo and Nana Antwi Danso as the scorers.
The host dominated right from the blast of the referee’s whistle but was unable to find the back of the net till Henyo benefited from a counter attack to tap from a cross to give Agyei Kojo the lead.
It was a similar build up in the second half that saw Danso firing into the roof of the net with only the goalkeeper at his mercy.
The game was under the auspices of the Chief of Klagon, Nii Bortey Klan who said this year’s event was to foster unity among the people especially during the election period.
According to him, though it was unfortunate his side did not win, the purpose of the event was achieved as people came together to have fun and interact with each other.
“We need to get the youth engaged in such sporting activities which would ensure they stay away from all forms of social vices,” he stressed.
The winners walked away with a trophy and cash prize as well as some consumables donated by organisers.
