Aduana Stars forward Nathaniel Asamoah is set to undergo further checks at the 37 Military Hospital to ascertain the extent of the injury he sustained during his side’s clash with Dreams FC a few weeks ago.
Asamoah who has played just two games for the Dormaa-based side sustained an ankle injury during the week 20 clash with the newly promoted side and has confirmed that he will be seeing a physiotherapist to ascertain the extent of injury.
The former Wa All Stars and Asante Kotoko forward suffered the ankle injury in the 26th minute of the game in which he was replaced by Bright Adjei.
“I don’t know the extent of the injury now but I will be going to the 37 Military Hospitals to see the extent of the injury but I am hoping to recover very soon,” Asamoah told Ghanasportsonline.com.
Asamoah joined the 2010 league champions on a two-year deal from Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca and has since played just a game for the title contenders.
