The 2015 edition of the annual Adisadel-Mfantsipim Fun Day Games has been scheduled for the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 24.
It is primarily aimed at reconnecting the old boys and foster unity among them.
This year’s meeting will be held under the theme “Celebrating the Methodist and Anglican Churches’ educational vision”.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition which is the 15th since its introduction, has been dedicated to the Methodist and Anglican churches in Ghana as well as the founders of Mfantsipim School and Adisadel College.
Old girls from Wesley Girls High School, Holy Child School, Mfantsiman Girls’ School and St. Monica’s School will join the old boys from Mfantsipim and Adisadel as well as family and friends to exercise in an atmosphere of fun and raise funds to support their Alma mater.
Activities lined up for the day includes a football match between the decade teams of Mfantsipim and Adisadel, a knockout football competition between Wesley Girls High School, Holy Child School, St. Monica’s and Mfantsiman Girls.
There would also be athletics events and a special “jama” session.
Furthermore the current football, cricket and basketball teams of Mfantsipim and Adisadel will also play each other.
