The tournament which climaxed the festival of the people of Ada over the weekend saw Ada East display outstanding skills and determination to snatch the ultimate trophy from the hands of an equally talented opponent.
Aside the main tournament was also a gala which was played among five selected teams in the area.
Heaven City from Ada Foah won the gala after defeating Young City Academy 2-0 in a very scintillating grand finale.
The winners walked away with 10 cartons of cowbell products and T-Shirts while the second placed team walked away with seven cartons and T-Shirts with the third settling for five cartons and T-shirts.
Other teams that participated in the gala include Survivors from Ada Foah, Freedom Fighters from Afiadenyingba and Queens Park from Luhuese.
According to Gideon Kodo of Cowbell, all the teams displayed some quality football to make the event a keenly contested and entertaining one for patrons.
Promasidor Ghana Limited, with its several brands, he said has been part of the festival as part of its community action activities.
“We organised a float from Tema Motorway to Ada, took part in the durbar on Saturday and also the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday before organising the tournament and gala to crown all the events”, he stated.
He congratulated the teams for the effort and pledged that the outfit is committed to supporting such activities in communities across the country.
Coordinator of events at Ada, coach Emmanuel Gamel Aryee expressed appreciation to cowbell for sponsoring the annual football event.
